Digital revolution in schools

Today, Polish education is on the threshold of digital transformation. In March 2019, representatives of NASK (Scientific and Academic Computer Network) and SMWI (Association of the City on the Internet) signed a declaration of support for school preparing for the challenges of the 21st century, offering a digital learning environment. Supporting education by tech solutions is particularly important at the moment when schools have to adapt to new teaching conditions forced by the coronavirus pandemic.
To contribute to this and support Polish education, Euvic IT has established a partnership with TIMATE, the creator of the personnel management and security system. At first, the system was used only in enterprises. However, it turned out that it can also be successfully used in schools and colleges.
On one hand, the solution for schools includes the functions of a digital identifier for students and teachers, a diary, a timetable, or a library card. On the other hand, it takes care of students’ safety by giving them an SOS button, which can be used in case of an accident, a dangerous event, or harassment. It would be helpful in an evacuation, alerting about falls or reminding about the need to disinfect their hands.
