LGBS invested in IT-Dev

LGBS bought 20% shares in IT-Dev, a company specializing in MS SharePoint-based solutions. The investment is another step to create the Euvic Technology Group which is to comprise several leading Polish technology companies.

IT-Dev (www.it-dev.pl) is one of the leaders in creating solutions to facilitate the documents flow and information management based on MS SharePoint on the Polish market. The company is a Microsoft Gold Partner and has won a number of awards for its high quality services, including being chosen as the Microsoft Partner of the Year. IT-Dev also takes part in the international programme Business-Critical SharePoint for companies, selected by Microsoft, that implement solutions based on the SharePoint platform.

LGBS and IT-Dev emphasize that the deal is all about synergy and economies of scale. The combined teams of both companies will be able to carry out the most complex Microsoft SharePoint implementations and to provide efficient SharePoint maintenance services for the largest organizations.

“Our acquisition of shares in IT-Dev is another step that brings us closer to the creation of the Euvic Technology Group. For several years we have been investing in industry-leading technology companies with complementary offer and experience, creating capital links between them. This is a reliable basis for the joint implementation of numerous projects in Poland and worldwide. The combined resources of our companies will soon become the basis for the creation of the Euvic Group. It will be one of the largest IT organizations in Poland in terms of the number of its staff and the versatility of its offer.”

–  said Wojciech Wolny, CEO of LGBS Poland.

“Joining the Euvic Group will enable us to offer our specialized solutions to clients of other companies from the Group. It will also give us an access to a large team of engineers. At the same time our joint SharePoint-related offering will allow us to address business needs of the largest organizations both in Poland and abroad. The healthy foundations of cooperation and obvious benefits to both our companies made it easier for us to decide in favour of the deal.”

– said Tomasz Szalaj, CEO of IT-Dev.
