Universality – a brand new universe of education

October is the time when the academic community kicks off to complete its semester and annual curriculums. The syllabuses are ready, the schedules are displayed, the students are thirsty for knowledge. The academic year 2020/2021 will certainly be slightly different from the previous ones. However, it has a chance to make a positive mark on the history of education development and make it a breakthrough year for its digitalization. Many companies, including the Euvic start-up Universality, are hoping for this.
The full synergy of science and business
Universality is an innovative platform that connects academic and business communities in a unique way. Thanks to its use, lecturers can create useful syllabuses, IT students can develop the competencies desired in the labor market, and companies can build a human resources base that meets their individual business needs.
This free tool has been recommended by the Ministry of National Education, and the Ministry of Digitization. It comprehensively responds to the challenges of the modern market.
How does it work in practice?
- Companies post hands-on programming tasks which can then be solved by students all over Poland.
- Lecturers utilize the platform during their classes by using the tasks prepared by the companies as concrete, real-world examples of programming work.
- When students solve tasks, they are confronted with tasks that they may later encounter in the labor market. In this way, they build their skills and learn to compete healthily.
- Companies look through CVs available on the platform, support students by building the desired employee competences, and finally recruit the best talent.
An intelligent response to educational challenges
Universality is one of the first projects of this kind in Poland, carried out in the field of IT education and combining science, and business in a direct way, from the “first day of studies”. It uses the functionality of AI-Driven HR – an intelligent student assistant and recruiter. Its idea is to create a virtual BOT assistant, which quickly and easily will be able to pair candidates who do not yet have the knowledge and skills necessary to take up a given position, but who are capable of development in modern subjects, with employers who may want to hire them. This tool will, on the one hand, guide a candidate through the whole path, developing his or her skills and, on the other hand, ultimately, will provide qualified candidates suitable for future positions in key IT fields.
Universality is a tool that not only addresses the needs of the modern market, but above all, thanks to the use of technology, it allows you to teach in a simple, intuitive way and, what is the most important nowadays, in complete safety. It is the first step on the way to a career in the IT industry.
